The Finish Frame ("we," "us") makes personalized race prints. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we need to design your print, take your order, and get it to you.
What we collect
- Order and contact details you enter at checkout: name, email, shipping address, and payment confirmation. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored by us.
- Your race data: the splits, station times, finish time, division, city, and date you type in or paste from your own result page. You provide this yourself; we do not scrape or pull it from any timing service.
- A race photo, only if you choose to add one to your print. It is uploaded so we can place it on your print at production resolution.
- Basic usage data: pages viewed and general interactions, through the analytics tools below. This is aggregate and not used to identify you personally.
How we use it
- To build, produce, and ship your personalized print.
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and respond to support requests.
- To send marketing email only if you opt in (the newsletter signup). You can unsubscribe from any email.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
Who we share it with (our processors)
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the store run:
- Shopify: storefront checkout, orders, and payments.
- Printify and its print providers: to produce and ship your print. They receive your shipping address and print file (which includes the race data and any photo you added).
- Cloudflare: website hosting and secure storage of any race photo you upload.
- Klaviyo: email delivery, if you opt into our newsletter.
- Google Analytics and Meta: aggregate site analytics and advertising measurement.
Your race photo
If you upload a photo, it is re-encoded in your browser before upload, which strips embedded metadata (including any GPS location) from the file. It is stored only to produce your print and is not published or shared beyond the print provider that fulfills your order. Ask us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights, including data deletion
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of marketing email at any time. We honor applicable rights under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA.
To request deletion of your data, email hello@thefinishframe.com from the address you used to order, or include your order number, and say that you want your data deleted. We will confirm and delete it within 30 days. That covers your account and order details, any race photo you uploaded, and your marketing profile. We may keep the minimum record of a transaction that tax and accounting law requires us to keep.

We use essential cookies to run the store and, where enabled, analytics/advertising cookies to measure performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
